Pediatric Care

Medicine your kid will actually take.

Half of pediatric pharmacy is the medicine; the other half is getting it into the child. We compound kid-friendly flavors, liquid versions of pill-only drugs, and doses sized for small bodies.

Many medications only come as adult-strength tablets. When your pediatrician prescribes one for a child, we can compound it into a properly-dosed liquid, and flavor it (grape, bubblegum, banana, and a couple dozen more) so dosing time stops being a fight.

We also compound for kids with dye allergies, sugar restrictions, and sensory aversions to certain textures. Tell us what the barrier is; there's usually a formulation answer.

What we compound

  • Flavored liquid versions of tablet-only medications
  • Weight-based custom doses for infants and children
  • Dye-free, sugar-free, and allergen-free reformulations

Common questions

Pediatric Care, straight answers

What flavors can you add?

Dozens, from grape and bubblegum to marshmallow. Flavoring is checked for compatibility with each specific medication first.

Can you make a liquid version of any pill?

Not every one, but many. We check the stability literature for each drug before saying yes, and we'll tell you quickly if it can't be done safely.

My child is on a tiny dose. Can you help?

That's exactly what compounding is for. We prepare weight-based doses that commercial strengths can't hit.
